My name is Martin. I am married to Sarah. We have a daughter called Phoebe (Sarah is an avid fan of Friends). We also have a Canine member of the family called Bob, however he is of the opinion that he is Human.

I am a happy person – most of the time! Injustice, in any form, annoys me. I class myself as an amiable chappy but, if provoked, a force to be reckoned with.

I have an inbuilt work ethic which does not let me slack, shirk or be lazy. When I see this in others it pisses me off. I work in recruitment and see these traits in candidates all too often. Therefore I am often pissed off at work. I love my job and can honestly say the work is great. I get along with my co-workers and directors, however, It is frustrating to see candidates who say they want to work and earn money but when it comes to the crunch, they can’t really be arsed.

Leading on from my previous paragraph, I find the Human Race as a whole are very similar to my little microcosm of employment. There are people that CAN and WILL. Then there are the people who CAN’T and WON’T. The latter group are all a bunch of Can’ts!

In this blog you may come across swear words. If it offends you, STOP READING! You may not agree with my posts, by all means, feel free to comment but beware………………. abuse directed towards me or others will not be tolerated.

My spelling and grammar may sometimes lack a little grace. Whilst all efforts are made to make my posts legible, I do not have a great deal of spare time to write my blog and practically no time for pedants.

This site will not just contain scathing remarks about the state of the UK (51st of USA?) and humanity in general taking a nose dive, I will also include some nice soothing photographs. (Just as soon as I figure out how to embed some of my albums from across the internet.)

Finally, the thing that irritates me most are people who can’t live with silence in the soundtrack of life. These people go on and on about inane shit just to fill a gap. If I don’t have anything decent to blog about on any given day, you will not find an entry.
